Raj Mahal Mandir Teak Wood Pooja Temple | Triple Dome Lion Column | Saharanpur Handmade | TIMBERCRAFTIN
The Royal Palace of the Divine — Raj Mahal Mandir
A Raj Mahal is a king's palace. And every deity deserves nothing less.
The Raj Mahal Mandir by TIMBERCRAFTIN is our most extraordinary architectural achievement in wood — a home temple modelled after the grandeur of India's royal palace mandirs, brought to life entirely by the hands of master artisans in Saharanpur.
Three Domes That Touch the Sky
The Raj Mahal Mandir is crowned by three magnificent domes — a large central dome rising above two flanking corner tower domes — just like the skyline of India's greatest temples and palaces. Each dome is carved with dense scrollwork, vines, and floral motifs. A finial rises from the central dome's peak.
Below, an extremely dense cornice of acanthus leaves and floral scrollwork sweeps across the full width of the temple — one of the most detailed cornices in our entire collection. The pointed Mehrab arch frames the deity space with regal elegance.
Lions, Steps & Sacred Grandeur
Lion and Yali figures crouch at the base of each column — ancient guardians of the sacred. The columns themselves rise in full carved glory — diamond and pineapple texture running from base to capital, every inch shaped by hand.
Inside, a unique 3-step carved platform elevates your deities in true temple style — each step bordered with hand-carved detail. Your idols sit at the highest point of the sacred space, elevated, honoured, and perfectly framed.
Royal Storage Below
Four large cabinet doors at the base — each covered in heavy dense floral and scrollwork carving — provide generous, beautiful storage for all puja essentials, idol accessories, religious books, and sacred items.
