Mayur Singhaasan Teak Wood Pooja Mandir | Peacock Crown Grand Temple | Saharanpur Handmade | TIMBERCRAFTIN
The Royal Throne of the Divine — Mayur Singhaasan
A Singhaasan is not just a seat. It is a throne. A declaration of majesty. A sacred space worthy of the divine.
The Mayur Singhaasan by TIMBERCRAFTIN is our most extraordinary creation — a home temple of such grandeur, such detail, such presence, that the moment it enters your home, everything changes. This is not furniture. This is a sacred monument.
The Crown That Commands Reverence
At the very peak of the Mayur Singhaasan, a full peacock fan spreads its wings in breathtaking carved glory — the most elaborate crown in our entire collection. A central Kalash finial rises from the peacock's crest. Two hand-carved peacocks flank the crown on either side, their forms emerging from a swirling cascade of acanthus leaves and floral scrollwork.
Below, a grand round arch frames the deity space — its interior carved with delicate floral motifs. The back wall is a masterpiece in itself — fully carved with diamond lattice and sweeping scrollwork from top to bottom, creating a rich textured backdrop for your deities.
The Lions That Guard the Divine
On both sides, full-length Lion and Yali carved columns stand as eternal guardians of the sacred space — a motif drawn directly from the gopurams of South India's greatest temples. Rope twist borders run throughout the entire temple, tying every element together with Saharanpur's signature handcraft.
Storage Worthy of a Royal Pooja Room
The Mayur Singhaasan offers the most complete storage of any temple in our collection — a wide puja platform shelf, one long top drawer, one large floral-carved cabinet on the left, and two floral-carved drawers on the right. Every puja essential — agarbatti, matchsticks, roli, chawal, diyas, rosewater, idol accessories — has its own space, neatly and beautifully organized.
